An Introduction
I am curious. I am a well traveled artist, teacher and collector of aesthetic experiences. I believe in life-long learning and the ability to connect what you already know to what you wonder about. Outside of my teaching I love staying active, enjoying weightlifting, swimming, and taking long walks. I am a painter and mixed media artist who lives in Honolulu, Hawaii. I have been sharing my skills in classrooms and universities for 40 years.
I come from a family of creative thinkers. My son is a film artist and my husband works in Koa and rare woods. More recently, I’ve found joy in both speaking and teaching about the arts on cruise ships such as Crystal, Silver Sea, Azamara and even the Queen Mary.
Art, much like life, Is just a series of decisions. Each decision moves the artist forward, and forms the basis for each new decision the artist will make.
